허니문 리조트로 유명한 인도양 모리셔스기름유출 일본선박 비상사태입니다.

인도양 남부 모리셔스 해역에 좌초돼 기름 유출 피해를 일으킨 일본 선박이 결국 두 동강 났다고 dpa통신이 현지 언론을 이용해 15일 보도했습니다.

 

모리셔스 해양부의 알랑 도니 실장은 현지 매체인 르모시앙에 선체가 이날 오후  3시 40분께 나뉘었다며 앞부분을 매우 천천히 예인하고 있다고 발혔습니다.

뒷부분은 사고 장소에 그대로 남아 있는 상황입니다.

 

환경 전문가 수닐 코르와카싱은 드론 영상을 확인했다면 아침부터 해안가를 따라 경비가 강화했고 완전히 비상사태로 전했습니다.

사고 선박은 일본 3대 해운사인 쇼센마이쓰이의 화물선 와카시오호로 ,중국에서 브라질로 항하던중 지난달 25일 모리셔스 남동쪽 산호초 바다에서 좌츠했습니다.

 

이 화물선에선 사고 이후 약 1천t의 원유가 새어나오며 천혜의 자연환경을 자랑하는 모리셔스 바다를 오몀시켰습니다.
일본 해운사 측은 지난 13일 사고 선박에 남아있던 원유 3천을 제거하는 작업을 다 끝냈다고 밝혔으나 이날 현재 얼마나 남아있는지는 확실치 않았습니다.
모리셔스는 지난주 환경 비상사태를 선언했으나 안팎에선 정부의 늑장대응을 비판하는 목소리가 높습니다.
환경전문가들은 피해 복원에 수십년이 걸릴 것으로 보고 있습니다.

A Japanese ship that was stranded in the southern Indian Ocean's Mauritius waters and damaged by the oil spill was eventually cut in two, the Dpa news agency reported on the 15th, using local media.

The ship was Wakashio, a cargo ship of Shosenmai Tsui, Japan's third-largest shipping company, and was sailing from China to Brazil when it left off the coral reef southeast of Mauritius on the 25th of last month Brazil.

 

About 1,000 tons of crude oil leaked from the freighter after the accident, sending the natural environment of Mauritius to the ocean.
The Japanese shipping companies to 13, 35 to remove the remaining oil in the accident said they've finished, but currently is not clear how a day.I do.
Mauritius declared an environmental emergency last week, but critics inside and outside of the country are criticizing the government's slow response.
Environmental experts say the restoration will take decades.
